ターラ・マンダラ・ダンスの２１尊礼賛経は、ターラ菩薩のさまざまな面を讃える古代チベットのお祈りから生まれました。ターラは、観音菩薩とともに、慈悲を行動にあらわす、とても人気のある菩薩さまです。礼賛のひとつひとつが、悟りのさまざま特質をあらわしています。その特質に繋がる動きの表現と、あなた自身の自由なダンスで、ダルマの法輪をまわります。

Join us to dance up Tara and her 21 Praises.

The 21 Praises of Tara Mandala Dance arose from an ancient Tibetan prayer praising the many qualities of Tara, (Kannonsan) the much-loved Bodhisattva of Compassion in Action. Each Praise is an aspect of enlightened mind. We connect to each quality and express it through movements as well as our own free dance, circling around the wheel of the dharma.

このダンスは、仏教の修行を具現化したものです。ターラについて学び、ターラがこの現実世界でとる賢明で巧みな方法を学びます。どなたでもこのダンスに参加できますし、ダンス経験は必要ありません。他者と繋がりあい、ダイナミックに身体を動かしながら、すべての人の生き物の平和と安寧を祈る、すばらしい方法です。

The dance expresses a Buddhist practice and we learn about Tara, and the skilful ways she moves in the world.

Anyone can join in these dances and no dance experience is necessary. Its a beautiful way to connect with others and share a moving, dynamic prayer for peace and well being for all.

フェリシティ・オズウェルは、ターラ・ダトゥのシニアティーチャーであり、経験豊富なダンス教師でもあります。日本語が上手で、日本のターラシスターズとともに2000年から、伊勢神宮、江ノ島神社、天川神社、那智滝神社、富士山などの日本の聖地で踊ってきました。普段はオーストラリアの共同体で教え、教育に広く携わり、その知識、知恵、ユーモアで人々を鼓舞してきました。

Felicity Oswell is a Senior Teacher in Tara Dhatu and an experienced Dance teacher. She speaks Japanese and has been dancing Tara with her Japanese Tara sisters in many sacred places including Ise Jiingu, Enoshima Shrine, Tenkawa Shrine, Nachi Taki Shrine, Fujisan, etc. since 2000. She lectures in Community Services and has wide experience teaching, inspiring and uplifting people through her knowledge, wisdom and sense of fun.

　ターラ・ダトゥとは、

80年代の初め、創立者のプレマ・ダサラがタイ・シツ・リンポチェにダンスを捧げたところ、解放のための乗り物としてダンスの純粋性を守るための組織をつくるように要望されました。ターラ・ダトゥは、聖なるダンスを通して人類に加持と高揚をめざす国際的な組織です。

Tara Dhatu: In the early 80’s, after the founder Prema Dasara offered the dance to His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche, and he asked that an organization be established to protect the dance’s integrity as a Vehicle of Liberation. As a result, Tara Dhatu was formed, an international organization dedicated to empowering and uplifting humanity through the sacred arts.
